Style Post – Pastel Trend Autumn/Winter 2013

Pretty pastels were a surprise trend this season as the array of candyfloss shades puts a twist on the traditional Autumn/Winter colour palette. Think bubble-gum, marshmallows and sherbet for inspiration. Here’s a few pink pieces that are my favourites from the high-street.

Sometimes its nice to go into full on girly mode using Barbie as your role model. This beautiful pink body-con dress from Miss Selfridges would make the perfect glam day dress. The geo print is brilliant as it makes this a great curve enhancing number for petites or those that want to accentuate their shape.

For those that would prefer a dash of pink, these heels from River Island would give any outfit a great pop of colour or this baby pink holdall is the perfect lady like accessory. It would look amazing teamed with an all pastel outfit or even with a neutral ensemble to add a dash of sweetness.
